Dennis Burrows Resigns from Constance Brown Hearing Centers

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – July 6, 2007 -- The Board of Directors of Constance Brown Hearing Centers (CBHC) announced that Dennis L. Burrows, PhD resigned his position as executive director in June to pursue other professional opportunities. Dr. Burrows was the agency’s third director in its sixty-five year history. He started at CBHC in September 1994.

The board has appointed Ginger Worth as acting executive director of Constance Brown Hearing Centers. “This is a wonderful organization,” Worth said. “We have a capable and devoted staff. They are committed to our mission of providing personalized service and advanced technology to the people we serve.”

Worth has been with Constance Brown Hearing Centers since 1994 as administrative manager. The next step for CBHC will be to search for a permanent replacement.

“The mission at Constance Brown Hearing Centers continues,” said Susan M. Valentine, chair of the CBHC board. “In the past five years we have seen an increasing demand for hearing services. We are committed to providing personalized service to help each individual find the right solution to change their lives. The board has every confidence in the staff and will support them in their efforts.”

Constance Brown Hearing Centers was established as a non-profit agency in 1942 to prevent hearing loss and provide assistance to the hearing impaired.
