United Way Kick Off – Sept 15th

Sometimes with all the hustle and bustle in the workplace, it would be nice to just shut the sound off for a moment wouldn’t it? But imagine if the switch couldn’t be turned back on.  Hearing sound connects us to our world. The relationships we have with others is significant, thus hearing aids open up a new world for those suffering from loss.  For children, receiving a hearing aid early can mean the difference of a lifetime.  For adults it can mean freedom from isolation and a more enriched life.

The gifts of private donors support programs that offer financial assistance to those suffering from hearing loss who lack the means to receive care. A recent recipient of this assistance wrote to us “I literally cried after having a conversation with my next door neighbor.  I hadn’t been able to do this in 15 years.  I hope people will continue to fund this program.”  As you ponder where to make your pledge this year for the United Way, listen to your heart and listen to the world around you.

Now imagine that world as silent and consider designating your pledge to Constance Brown Hearing Centers.
